I am a doctoral scholar on the Open World Learning Project at the Institute of Educational Technology. My PhD research focuses on ethics and privacy issues in learning analytics.
I am currently a Leverhulme-funded doctoral scholar at the Institute of Educational Technology. My research focuses on ethics and privacy issues in learning analytics. I use both quantitative and qualitative research methods.
My expertise is in human factors in security and privacy. Previously I held a senior research fellowship at Simply Secure where I conducted research on the barriers to the adoption of secure messaging apps. I have also worked at the Center for Advanced Security Research, Darmstadt. My research was on improving the usability of verification in Helios, an end-to-end verifiable, open-source, remote electronic voting system.
My educational background is in computing and information technology. I have taught several undergraduate courses, including human computer interaction and computer security.
