About
I am a proud Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA), recognition that reflects both my leadership in learning and teaching and my sustained impacted on the professional practice of colleagues. Throughout my career, I have led and contributed to initiatives that have positively influenced teaching quality, curriculum design, and academic enhancement across the institution.
I am an active member of the Women’s Higher Education Network (WHEN), participate in the OU’s reciprocal mentoring programme, and am a committed trans staff ally, engaging with several cross-university groups to promote inclusivity and equity. Prior to working at the OU I studied and completed a BA (Hons) in Psychology and Philosophy with the OU. This inspired me to seek a role at the OU because my studies gave an insight into the work undertaken to support the amazing students.
