About

I am a Research Associate on the Research Capabilities Hub, funded by the Economic and Social Research Council. I am a political scientist specialising in political violence, war and peacebuilding, with a focus on research that intersects peace and conflict, migration and development.

My work includes design and training in qualitative, creative and participatory research, with a strong interest in complimentary and mixed methodological innovation. I also have pedagogic and learning design experience, translating research findings into accessible educational and learning resources.

Before moving fully into academia, I worked in central government at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs and in the third sector.
