About
I’m the Hub Manager for the ESRC‑funded Research Capability Hub at the Open University, where I help coordinate the smooth delivery of a programme designed to expand research skills and strengthen capacity in the social sciences across the UK. I support the Hub's objectives to develop and deliver research methods training, build partnerships, and foster a more inclusive and connected research community. I lead the organisational, administrative, financial and post‑award activities associated with the Hub, ensuring that the programme has the systems, processes and operational foundations it needs to run effectively and sustainably. I’m particularly motivated by work that improves accessibility and enables individuals - regardless of background or circumstance - to develop and engage without barriers.
My professional background spans project management and research operations, with experience in both higher education and the charity sector. I hold a degree in Sociology and am committed to creating clear, supportive and collaborative working environments that help people develop their skills and connect across the community.
