Increasing diversity in GO-GN

-

Promoting diversity of the GO-GN Network in the Global South.

Overview

The GO-GN is an international community of OER PhD students. The global south is under-represented in this community. We are not reaching those who could potentially benefit the most from being part of the network. This project will work with an expert in Kenya to reflect on how we do things, and together learn what we need to do differently.

To engage the OER research community in conversations about diversity. We will measure progress by monitoring views to our website, comments on blog posts, Twitter exchanges and GO-GN membership applications.

In the long term we hope that Global South and Global North are equally represented in GO-GN, and that we have the strategy and implementation tools in place to fulfill our aims in an intercultural, connected and open world.
