OU's mental health microcredential responds to gap in curriculum
IET have launched Teacher Development: Embedding Mental Health in the Curriculum to support educators embed mental health in their curriculum.
IET has pioneered in developing some of the first microcredentials to be offered by the OU.
Delivered on the FutureLearn platform, these 15 credit postgraduate 12 week-long courses are designed to offer knowledge and skills development in areas of most value to today’s online educators, including educators who have taken their teaching online due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Our current microcredentials are:
Each microcredential presents three times a year, in February, June and October. Other microcredentials are planned and are likely to include courses on augmented reality, learning analytics and online education for climate change.
